now I like both brands so I can go either way

I have a pioneer head unit and I have rockford wiring/amps/subs

so now trying to decide on the regular speaker setup

i'm kinda leaning towards the pioneer because I like the grills better than the rockford

opinions?

both are good but ive always had good luck with pioneer and mainly Alpine. if possible i would go with alpine but thats just my .02

I have a set of punch 6x9's that are about 3 years old and i've never had any complaints with them. they are 75 watt rms and i've been feeding them about 100 and they sound amazing.

I've never heard a set of pioneers amped but in my opinion, the 5-way 6x9's sound much better than the 4-ways when run off of the head unit.

go with the ones that sound best because those will be the ones that sound best


and why are you going thru the trouble of making a fancy fiberglass sub enclosure and then using co-axial speakers. thats like taking your girlfriend to get a boob job but only buying her one boob. ditch the co-axials and go with componets.

I've had my pioneers for years... and I love em. Since 2003 I've had em, and they've been in and out of 3 cars

Im an alpine guy, but i use pioneers for my components. I love them.

I had RF speakers in my car, I had Pioneer speakers in my car, I put Infinity in 5 of my cars because I like them that much.

My 2 newest are getting something different though, Diamond in one and JBL in the other....We will see if I'll be replacing those too.

I have RF amps and subs in my Favorite car though.

I bought a set of pioneer for my cav, but when I got my new truck i went to infinity. The Infinity speakers I like alot better. Not to say the pioneers where bad, but there was a noticable difference. I think you will be pretty happy with your purchase

i personally hate rockford...its strictly kicker or pioneer whenever i buy anything... but alpine and infinity are awesome stuff

i have a rockford punch 10" and i am extremely satisfied with the quality of these speakers!

You cant go wrong with Infinity, I @!#$ love mine, the sound is amazing. The price might be kinda high, but there well worth it.

im not a fan of pioneer's speakers, cept their premiers. rockfords power series is awesome, but ide stick to polks, they sound fkn great
