hey guys i just recently bought a cda-9835 alpine head unit. I want to try the ipersonalize but do not know too much about the specifics of car audio. Any help would be appreciated! What settings would sound best in my car?
I have:
alpine type s 2 way 4x6's
alpine type s 3 way 6x9's
2 12" Alpine Type R's in a slot ported box
MRD-M1005 V12 amp

I love i-personalize
Basically what I do is look at the specs for each individual speaker and set it to what it can handle.
Let me grab some specs and i'll be back.

If you look at the...
4x6
---Frequency Response: 50Hz - 30kHz
6x9
---Frequency Response: 30Hz - 30kHz
Sub
---Frequency Response : 23Hz - 500Hz

I'd set the crossover for the...
4x6
---100hz; 0db; 24db/oct
6x9
---80hz; 0db; 24db/oct
Sub
---100hz; -4db; 12db/oct
now the sub is kinda personal preference and what music you're listening too. I like the sub to enhance, not just hit lows so i'll like set it at 100 or so and slop down from there. But like when I listen to techno or something like that i'll take it down to like 50. I also like to have more music than just bass so i usualy kick it down a litlle

If you look at the other things you can change...
Opening Message
---just what it says

Time correction
---measure from each speaker to where your head is when you're sitting down - input the numbers in there and it will delay the speakers so that the sound from each one reaches you at the same time.

Parametric EQ
---this is basically all personal preference - higher hz are trebel and the lower hz are bass - basically mess around with it till you find something you like

let me know if you need anymore help
i dont claim to be an expert but i do know enough
