I searched the forum couldn't find any info. I'm assuming this button is for XM, but is there say anyway you could hook up an adapter so you could plug your mp3 player into it?
the AUX buttons as far as i know could be used for anything as long as you had the adapter to wire it up. CD changers, MP# players, Sat radio, anything.

ACTUALLY my BAND button on my RDS radio is what activates the XM Radio, FM1, FM1, AM, XM1, XM2
it can yes. but not all radios have the feature enabled. if you press it and it does nothing then it isnt gonna work...i already tried the adapters

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Unfortunatly I don't think my radio has a functional AUX button so I think I'm going to scratch that idea. I'm just planning on purchasing a new head unit now, doesn't seem to be any easy way out..
So there is no way of enableing it? Mine says CD/AUX....so maybe if something is plugged in it will work?
Does anyone know of an easy way to hook up an amp to the RDS second Gen Stereo? I got a line out adaptor but i dont know if its gona be effective or not.
