So I'm looking into buying a JVC CD/MP3/WMA Player due to my luck with my JVC mp3/cd player I had last time in my grand am (I wanted to keep it but the insurance company wouldn't let me). I found a deck on Circuit City's site, and had my car selected, and it said "accessories recommended" and it showed this harness. It appears to just plug straight back into the stereo and plugs right into the stock vehicle harness. However it says nothing about it being a GM harness. Anyone know anything about this?
Just looking for a cheap way to upgrade my stereo. I was going to look into getting a Door Chime module off ebay but they are too expensive, and I really don't feel like drilling holes in my floor to move the radio to the trunk. So I decided for the trouble its not worht keeping the chimes... I'll just have to be careful about leaving my headlights on lol.
Any advice is appreciated
circuit city uses "universal harnesses" from Metra... which is a JVC harness, go to a universal harness. That clips into a Universal to (insert car make/modle) harness. No nothing required, no crimps, etc.
