ED SG10 box design help. :)

Okay first off I'd like to say, that Elemental Design is an awesome company with awesome deals. I ordered my SQ10 subwoofer last tuesday, around 11pm, and I recieved the subwoofer on friday. Talk about fast shipping.

I'd also like to say that I am in now way an audiophile, but I'm needing a little more sound in my DD 96 z24. I usually rome around the performance and boost forums on this site. But now that I got this sub I am in need of making a well built, well sounding, perferably ported box.

Specs on ED site says Ideally a SQ10 in a ported box should be 1cu. ft. tuned to 30hz, you say easy? right.

well I am having some troubling figuring all this out by myself. I have an idea in my head for a really clean install. I don't want the typical small box moving around with amp bolted to the back.

I want to do a box/amp rack that goes across the truck between the spare tire cover and the back seat (not a ton of room, one reason why I got a 3" mounting depth sub).

I need some help figuring out a box with 1 cu. ft. tuned to 30 hz, with a rectangular port, and fit between the back seat and spare tire cover.

Lol, if your willing to help thank you.

and yes I know this was long and probably a waste of your time, but i'd appreciate your help.

Hey Man.

How much power do you plan putting on the SQ10?

That really depends on the box size for that speaker.

Either way, shoot us an email. sales@edesignaudio.com and give us the largest dimensions that you can use. We can get you the dimensions whipped up.
