ok, i'm going to buy 2 of these 10" type-s alpine subs
CLICKY and i'm not sure if i should be running 1 of the new PDX amps, i've been looking at this one
MORE CLICKY but i've heard that Alpine's subs and amps are heavily underrated, so i know i could put a sh!tload more power to them. but what ampe should i buy if not the PDX one i linked. any ideas? thanks.
The pdx is a 4 channel amp, and the type s, i wouldn't put too much more than 300 watts rms to them bro. Are you going for the dual 4 ohm or single 4 ohm subs?
Type R is under rated..I havent seen many people running alot to the Type S with any luck..
i'm aware the pdx is a 4 channel, but i could just bridge them and get 300watts off 2 channels to run to the 2 Type-s'. i'm not all in for the idea of buying to mono alpines, they are wickedly expensive even for my taste. the pdx4.150 and the 2 type-s' are right in my price range...so my real question is, is it a good deal?
I had an alpine set up in my sunfire that worked amazing. I had two 12" alpine e subs with 1200 watts running to them and it sounded amazing, but only if you really want bass lol. I dunno much about the type s but i know the e's were good.

type e's wont handle 600 watts each and you have no idea what real bass is either im afraid

go with a M1005...1000w
Should be able to pick it up for around 300 new.
I love mine, Looks awesome, compact and did an awesome job powering my Type R's. We will see how it does with my FI
I have a V12 MRD-M1005 (1000 watts) and a 12" type r sub. You wont be disapointed....
