Does anyone know which headunits the
Kenwood KCA-BT100 is compatible with? I read that it's not available until June, but I can't find which headunits it will work with. If anyone can help me, that would be great.
Whoops, I was gonna ask about the Panasonics also, but I found out which ones those work with
it looks like the standard cd changer plug...i know i have an 03 model radio (kdc-mpv6022) and the sirius radio i have built into it has the same plug on it...so im sure it would work with most kenwood radios, all thats gonna do is change the source of the radio to that module instead of a cd player or something...
but call up kenwood and ask, im curious about this myself.

Alpine also has a Bluetooth add-on module coming out soon, so I'll have to check that out too. I really like the Kenwood's setup, because you can send AND receive calls, AND store your phonebook onto the head unit. The Panasonic is set up to receive calls only, and you can't store numbers onto the head unit (because you obviously can't call anyone). I can't find anything about the Alpine, so I may be making a trip to the local stereo shop to find out some more.
I'll keep everyone posted
The Kenwood will work with the eXcelon X-590 cd player. It is $269.99 retail
The panasonci will work with a few of them, gotta look at the specs on each one.
And NO IT DOES NOT use the CD CHANGER PLUG on the Kenwood, we have the
X590, X689, X790, X890 all in stock, and the X590 is the only one for Bluetoothg so far, and it has a special plug on the back for it.

I have the same unit and never had any problem with it whatsoever. Great buy, man.

I agree with lundis, you Better check with Kenwood's people. They can tell you what kind of headunits your model is compatible with.
