?Sony Audio Quality?

Just wondering the quality for Sony audio cause for home electronics I think they are crap.

Asking because there is a liquidator near me selling a cd player cheap and I wanna change it up for mine cause the knobs are fading on the factory deck.
Might also change for Sony speakers.

Thanks for any replies

i had sony's in my last 3 cars and buddy in his last 2 we both also had sony setup that included amps,subs,6x9,4x6,6.5,speakers and headunits with nothing but great results in performance, sound, and longevity. in my eyes and experience sony was a great purchase for me all around hope this helps.

I installed a Customer's CD player in his truck last week, it was a Sony. I gotta sat they stepped it up this year. It had WMA/MP3, iPod controls, 3 sets of RCS outputs, 1 input, NICE OEL Display, nice faceplate, and overall a nice looking and sounding deck. I was really surprised. I kinda reminded me of a NICE higher end Pioneer Premier deck. Usually the Sony decks I've seen in customer's rides are ugly, hard to control, and sound like crap. So the newer model this guy had really caught me off guard.

If it is a newer 2006-2007 model I would consider it.

in my opinion sony is a bunch of garbage ever since they started production on their PS3, their funding, productivity and quality of everything else went straight downhill. Your best bet is to just spend a little extra on an alpine deck or spend even more and get a wicked-a$$ clarion deck.

anything at walmart is lower quality. walmart as a corperation are a$$holes they tell the companies how much of a product they want, when they want it and how much they are gonna pay. if the company doesnt agree they dont get their product on the shelf. in turn the product is rushed out and underdeveloed for walmart to meet standards of price and ime limits
