Ok i have an idea and not sure if its good or not. I was thinking about taking a sealed box that fits two 12" and flipping the box so the speakers are facing up towards the back dash. the reason to have more room in the trunk. To make it look better i thought about cutting a square in the middle and putting plexie glass in so you could see inside the box maybe through in some lights. Wondering how much sound I would loss and if this even a good idea or not?

It's going to rattle like whoah. Best sound is going to be facing towards the trunk.
You mean like this right:
Only reason I did that was so I didn't accidentally punch a hole in the sub w/ something in the trunk
Right now, no... the amp went *poof*
Before that happened though, didn't rattle any more than with it facing to the rear.
if u cut a hole in the box and dont do it right or the glass isnt thick enough then the glass will go poof like ur amp. u want to see in just cut the hole and leave it open ull make it a bandpass style they sound great.
Sounds like a fine idea to me. If you want to get real creative, port that bad boy through the rear deck
