I know this ain't audio related but it is electronic so here it goes: I bought some high performance headlight bulbs 80 watt low beam/100 high beam. Will I need to buy better headlight sockets or will the stock ones take the extra power without melting?

you want brighter light get the ultras for sylvania i have them in both my cars and my parents have them in theirs. also my buds 04 fire has a hid kit yet a balist blew last night and now hes only got one light only a week old,
