I'm going to attempt to mount 6 1/2" speakers in my door pannel, and am going to make adaptors, as per the FAQ. But with the weather being -40, I'm looking for a way around pulling the factory speakers out before cutting the adaptors. Is there a place I can print out a template to trace out?
make it easy on ur self and save time buy the adapters off ebay for like 10 bucks, the hard work is done for you already.
also the front speakers are 4x6 so they are oval if you make the temp a 4x6 square this will give the shape to fit the hole yet use the new speaker to size for the 6.5.
Thanks for the help. I ended up buying adaptors. I'll try them first, and if I don't like them, I'll make my own.
make your own from them, i used the plastic ones for about 2 weeks before they cracked from the vibes
