cannot get my headunit to sound good

I am not able to get my alpine 9833 tuned right. it gets loud but it sounds very flat like there are no highs. I have no idea on tuning. I cannot get any treble out of it. The crossover settings are so confusing. I am ready to sell it already.

I had the same problem with mine.

Go here for one.

If you can't figure it out or if you still need help, let me know what speakers/subs you have and I'll try and make a file for you.

I sent it to you. (use the second one)
Burn it to a cd and pop it in. Then go to data download (i think it's under menu). It'll come up and then push the dial in to select it.

No guarantees but it's worth a shot.

I take that back.
I'm gonna email you a file. It's an mp3 but the headunit will look at it as data. This will be the one that you need to burn to a cd.
