just curious if you guys have any opinions on a decent flip out LCD that has touch screen capability as well as plays DVD's
ive seen a bunch that are touch screen but require another unit to play DVD's. Im looking for all in one. also, im not looking for a pioneer that will cost an insane ammt. just something cheap to play the DVD's and allows me to hook up my other 3-5 LCD's
any input u may have is much appreciated
kenwood screens are probably the nicest ones really. imo
god i hate pioneer, ill never own a pioneer cd player as long as i live. stupid sticking cd's that dont come out bs! not to mention the sound quality is junk.
kenwood or alpine ftw joey!
UFlip06 said it best: Just look underneath the engine and if you see big hairy balls it's a 2.4 Twin Cam, if they're shaved it's an Ecotec and if you see nothing it's a 2200!

yea my buddy had a real nice one in his impala. 7" flip out touch screen dvd/cd/mp3 player. it was really nice. he got it brand new on ebay for 1000
Well I got a pioneer N3 new for 1200, and I havent had a problem yet. I dont know what you consider an insane amount of money but for a quality product that is touch screen and can play dvd's isnt going to be very cheap. You get what you pay for.
On another note It seems alot of new dvd players can't be used while driving unless you want to make some modifications to your brand new unit.

i think Rodimus is selling his n1 for cheap...hit him up

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Junk. I've installed several of those players and every one of them has had problems. As was said above, you get what you pay for.

why dont you just get a innovatek or eonon?? there ebay brands and have heard very good things about them.... ive got one sitting in my seat right now... im planning on putting in this weekend. its not a dvd/touchscreen just lcd. but they do make them. if interested i can post some results.
oh and btw i got it for a whopping $125 dollars shipped from a guy who bought it and never even opened the box and its motorized too... i couldnt pass it up.
and eazy if you doing this for a pc build hit me up... i can help ya out.
Everyone I kow is putting in that Jenson. If that is the same exact one their getting then it is touchscreen. Also there's a way for the factory to disable the whole can't watch movies when the car is moving.
I have an Alpine touch screen in my silver cav and love it, its the one with the touchback feature, whenever you push a button on the touch screen the button pushes back, obviously it has more features then that but either way I have it and love it. I know some people with some cheap ones and I definetly don't recomend them. One of my good friends has a Kenwood touchscreen, a few years old but top of the line at the time, the kenwood was awsome only complaint is it was a bitch to use without the remote, dvd controls were near impossible without the remote
I will prolly switch over to Kenwood or alpine simply for the fact that I want a double din instead of a flip out. But I have a pioneer now, and i know others who have it which is why I bought one and its amazing...DVD/ MP3? Touch Screen. I should have waited cause now crutchfield has them on sale for like 596...

I might also check out Pioneers new one(people can say what they want but theres a reason its one of the most popular screens)
ahh i kno a couple peopel with jensen and their having trouble with theirs.. they both said it doestn wanan play dvds or mp3s all the time.. No input on the clarion yet?
clarion makes a nice screen my boy has that in his truck. These are the brands i would take into consideration
Kenwood
Panasonic
Alpine
Pioneer
Clarion
