Hey I have a 98 Z and right now I have a 450watt amp going to a MTX 10 from like ten years ago. Got it for 30 bucks, installed from a freind. Well one of my freinds at school needed some cash bad so I bought a brand new Apline Type R 12 in box, and a Rockford Fosgate 900 watt amp off him for 120 bucks. Will that kill my alternator? Seemed like a good deal, since the sub is new. Herd some so so things about the amp, but ya get what ya pay for i guess. Im currently snowed in so I cant get the wires i need to install it into the new box i bought. Thanks in advance.

No it wont...there are plent of people running more power on stock battery and alternator. Unless of course you have a charging problem, then thats another story.
