I had Infinity Kappas in my old car and I'm planning a system for my current car ('04 Cavalier coupe). I like the specs on Eclipse speakers and the Infinitys in my old car ran off the headunit. I know that speaker tastes are subjective, but I'm looking for some first-hand accounts. As for me, I'm looking for a smooth sound.
Which Eclipse speakers are you looking at?

You can expect music to come out of them.
your going to expect clear and loud music coming out of Eclipse and I think Eclipse is the best company out there.

I dont know how they are now, but I used to love them. SQ more than SPL though....
i would compare prices i heard some 6x9 eclipses at cc and i wasnt amazed but im sure the have way more to offer then what circiut city has on the shelfs. they do make some nice ass cd players though
Nope, the same stuff at CC is what the Local Dealers carry. One main reason we are suppose to stop carrying Eclipse. Eclipse to me sounds LOUD and CLEAR, but MAJORLY lacking in the MIDRange and MIDBASS area. The highs at times are kinda too loud. For the price they are worth it. But if you wanted to spend a little more you would probably find a better choice.
