i have a soundstream T4 12inch sub. i only had 1 voice coil hooked up and was able to hit 142.3, in a 3 cubic foot slot ported box. and i have a 1 ohm stable us amp. now that i relized that it wasnt hooked up dual voice coil in parallel what would i expect to hit now that its at 1 ohm.
1 bajillion dbs
put it on a meter
my buddy has it and hes at school so i cant rite now. i didnt want like an exact number but can i expect like 1 db or 5 or not b any louder.
depends if it's a 3 inch or 2.5 inch voice coil. if it is a 2.5, then nate is right, a bajillion db's is what you should expect. if it's a 3 inch coil, expect .8342 X 10 to the 13th bajillion db's.
how much power did you run it at before..versus now?

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
nvm thanks for the help guys but it hits at 144.1 now so 2 dbs louder just for hooking it up dvc and parallel. and that was on an epic meter at a local car audio place.
