First you really shouldn't tell people the accomodation price we're getting(i also work at circuit) because that will cause you to lose business. Be smart. But anyways if you said ypou didn't want anything crazy a 1000.1 and 2 compvr's will be an insane amount of bass. I have a 700.5 5 channel amp and a single 12" L5 and it's a decent amount of bass loud when it needs to be but not obnoxious at low volume. Again Kicker is nice enough to give us a good deal on product because we help them sell product telling other people they are overpaying is a kick in the d&*k! Chew on this if Kicker found out about this they could pull they accomodation from circuit and you will have many pissed off employees at your door.

Well, that's a pretty freaking small box to be ported with two 12's. If you want comp VR subs just pick up two (they sell them at Circuit City individually so you know you'll get em cheap) and build a box. I'd pay $175 for the amp so no complaints there.

Prefab boxes = bad and usually to small.

buy the subs and some MDF and build your own it will be cheaper and sound better.

i agree except for the public overpaying. its not that the public is overpaying its just that the enployees are getting a good deal. usually a deal where the company doesnt make any money off of it.

I have a KX1200.1 on 2 L7 12s, it hits fairly hard but the glory about it is you can always turn down the bass knob and control it. As for subs the only Kicker sub I would buy is a Solobaric. If you buy L7 12s I personally would go with a ZX1500.1 as it will match up better with the 12s rms rating. I never use prefab boxes in my personal installs. I used the box specs from Kicker for the compact box in my car. Just my .02 cents.
