Grounding System

I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with these 7 point grounding systems out there. Do these things actually work or if they are just all crap?

7 points is overkill. Just to the big 3 and be done with it.

7 ground points? Sounds like a lot. I just one one per amp.

7 point systems is doing more then just upgrading the big three. its for other electronics in your car involved with the engine, yes it can help if done properly but it wont be anything you would notice with a butt dyno and nothing you'd be able to tell unless you took the time and tested each location to find the best spot and did dyno runs with it. so realistically its not something really worth spending money on unless you have the tools to get the most out of it wich even in the best setup will still be minimal.

but all in all, dyno testing aside i can get one of these kits on ebay for like 25 bucks. I have a rather large stereo consisting of 2 12" Audiobahn subs, Sony 1200 watt amp with 4 gauge power wire and 80 amp fuse, Boss 1 farad capacitor, I do also have an Optima Yellow Top and about to do the Big 3 with 4 gauge wire and 150 amp fuse. Would there be any benefit to using one of these like taking a little strain off the alternator?

"RATHER LARGE" and "SONY 1,200 WATT amp with 4awg" doesn't go together very well. As far as I know, like Jason said the 7point grounding system IS NOT for your SYSTEM needs, it is suppose to be for performance. Being that almost everything on a newer car is electronic, it is suppose to help you with your injectors, coil packs etc.

The answer is no.

Just do the big 3. Hell, you don't even have to do THAT.

i wasn't sure if it would really do anything or not. and yeah i guess i kinda made my car sound like the worlds loudest stereo, i want to go bigger but hell a cav is only so big.

again the 7 points wont help the audio at all its for the engine and performance. the big 3 will help with your audio.

and also yes its only 25 bucks but my point with the dyno is if your not mounting the grounds to the best possibly spot you may not even get that 2-3 hp gain.
