I was hooking up my pioneer avx-p7000cd in dash tv and the unit will not let me use the video input function, i think i have to wire the wire coming out of the 3 rca leads on the brain to the e-brake, so should i be able to just ground it?? the brain unit is the avm-7000r

if its like the other ones i have done it is just a ground but it will have to have a switch to simulate releasing the ebrake and then re-engaging it to work. just having it to constant ground wont work.
ok, so its looking for a switched ground??? how would i wire that in a switch???

simple grounding issue, just grounded it out and it works fine, timler its an older unit i think nthats why its so simple
