I've been looking for a Amp for the G/F car and was thinking about going with the same Manufactuer as I'm using, JBL, and using their GTO755.6 II for running her 4 corners and a 10" sub. I was going to mount it on a slide out tray below the back deck and Paint the end caps to match the Car (Red) along with red Neon, but I found a Sony Amp already in red for a good price....If you guys could give me some opinions on them I would apreciate it. Or any other options.

Sony has been great for me, I've blown 3 of my sony amps, sent them to sony and got them repaired for very very cheap. Sony customer service has been very good to me.

A reliable product isnt supposed to blow up that many times in the first place
so you blew up 3 sony amps and because they fixed their pos amp and sent it back to you you'll stand by them? I use sony too. as door stops and a boat anchor.
I've heard that Old Sony ES equipment (which that is) is pretty decent. But maybe I have heard that from the wrong people...

Old school sony wasn't bad, maybe 10 years ago it started to turn to dog poo.
The last decent peice of Equipement Sony made was the MP80 Headunit. Wonderful unit. Stopped production almost 5 years ago now.

The amps work fine, its just me abusing them.

Sony stuff is great for the price. In the grand scheme it's better than stock, Dual, or audiovox; but everyone else is better pretty much. It doesn't take abuse. Sounds better than stock, but not like other stuff. Use it, I'm not an audiophile, I just wanted something better than stock that didn't brake the bank.
