Odometer turned off....
Tuesday, January 09, 2007 10:36 AM
My odometer on my 03' is digital...and is no longer displaying my mileage...everything else on the interior is working properly...is there a fuse that controls the odometer or has something more serious gone wrong?

thanks guys

I'm guessing we're talking about the light behind the odometer not lighting up anymore.... as opposed to the odometer not working (ie. displaying nothing, but still lit up... or showing "Error"...).

Smack the top of the dash. Hard! If it doesn't come back on, you need a new cluster. Or just live with it... if you can see the mileage with a flashlight, the thing's still working... just the light behind it is burnt out.

hes right about that. mine stopped after working with radio-related electroncics with the dash off. i hit it a few times, it lit back up, and has been on since...and ive had the dash off since then too. make a tiger-type fist/palm/whatever...if you've EVER taken any form of martial arts you know what im talking about...then while seated inyour drivers seat, extend that arm..and hit your dash above the cluster straight down...with the bottom of your palm/top of your wrist. it seems to work with my troublesome cluster bulbs as well.
