Ok so i am going through the build of my next system i would like to build up. it includes 3 Alpine PDX 1.1000 that would total 240A at 80A per amp. then theres a PDX 4.150 for the components that is rated at a total 60A for a total of 300A for the main fuse. is it safe to run an ANL that is rated at 300A on a single 1/0ga or should i get a 300 and then also run seperate fuses after the distribution block? im not a complete novice but have never really went into alot of power till now when i am finally free to do as i please when it comes to my vehicle. oh btw im gonna run 3 Infinity Kappa 124.7W 12" subwoofers with the 3 alpine units. any info would be greatly appreciated. TIA
you need to fuse your main power wire...and if you split it, you must fuse each new wire accordingly.
so run a 300amp fuse on your 1/0....and if you split it to 4awg, run 125 amp fuses on your 4awg wires.

alright cool. also if i relocate my battery what fuse size should i run on that line? i dont want my main fuses going wacko but i am going to be cleaning my engine bay of most wires and such here shortly. havent ever done it but it should be a good idea to fuse it seeing as how far away the fuse box will be.... even after relocating that i will be keeping it under the dashboard so.....
