i wanted to know how some different ways people ran there power wire to there amps and maybe get some pics thanks
most pull it throgh the grommet in the firewall then down the channel along the door sill

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
ya...usually thru the grey grommet uner the dash then down the plastic side channels
ive also seen it run up the a pillar, but i personally think that just makes more work for yourself
I used my hands and a screwdriver.

Through the grommet and down the left side under the plastictrim, and under the seat, nothin but trunk. Just be sure to run the RCA cables down the opposite side of the car. While you're at it, you mayt want to run the largest gauge cables you can the first time, because once you have one amp, chances are, you'll want more, it's a guy thing. More power!! Do yourself a favor, and do it right the first time. You'll save money in the long run.

thats Gospel right there. if you want big wire.. go with 2gauge
just riding around in the 4 door cav
I put mine on the treadmill, force it to run!
2 gauge is not that big. 1/0 is standard big kid wire. you can also run it under the car and drill a hole into the trunk. no lumpy carpets but then it can be exposed to the weather.
where is that grommet an it the engine bay i can't seem to find it
the gromet is hard to see..get in your car and look under the dash where the steering cloum goes in..youll see a grey rubber gromet. Push it from the inside to out andthen run it through the car..go with 1/0..its worth it..phil
alrright nothing i can mess up there right
only thing you could possibly do is nick a wire in the harness....jsut make sure not to do that

Does anyone run it under the carpet? If so how hard is it to do? And I am guessing it would be recommended to do dynomat at the same time?
derrick you act like you and i never have put a system in a car before. come on now lol talk to you later come to my homestead and ill help with the runnin
since my power cable was so massive (0/1 awg) i had to do things differently with my setup.
i pulled it through the stock grommet like usual, but then i took out the driver seat and pull up the carpet on the driver side. i then snaked it along the bottom of the center console, hiding it under neath a few braces that were built into the floor. i then hid it nicely all the way underneath the back seat and under the trunk carpet and all the way to the back. i then have it broke off to 3 4awg outputs via a stinger distro block, each wire then goes to one of my 3 amps.
it was a real PITA to run JUST the power wire, but in the end it was worth it. i get a lot of "WTF why do u have such a big power wire?!" i just say because i need it, and i do.
i ran my 1ga under the carpet under the back seat and into the trunk. if you do it right there shouldn't be that much of a hump
no problems here running 2 sets of 0/gauge down the side under the carpet. you dont need to put the rca on the opposite side unless you are runnign a highs amp. if its just a sub amp there is no point in doing any extra work
i ran mine down the side under the sill...easy as pie...1/0..phil
Same, I have mine going in the stock gorment and down the side of the car, 4awg for me.
