i just hooked up my system but now i am having problems with the system. When i crank it the system it shuts the whole system down then turns right back on. idk what it could be. when im driving it is fine i can go as loud as i want its only when it is at idle or park. i was reading something about the alt does not produce enough amps till after 2000rpms or something like that. so maybe the system is drawing to much power and shutting it down. idk someone help.

what do i just splice off the black wire and ground it somewere else ?

that system shouldnt draw too much power....im thinking maybe vibration.......

Correct, use 14g or better, and get it as close to the deck as possible. Also, make sure the amp ground is equal to or larger than the power.

Mine does the same thing, added a ground and all better

ha. thats nothing. when i had my lumina i pulled up to a stoplight and the whole car shut off.
