Damn you car audio

So I finished the install with the 2 12"s half wall about 2-3 weeks ago and im already thinking about a new set-up. Anyone here with a wall in the cavalier? How many cubes did you get out if it? Im playing around with the idea of a wall with 3 9512's, 2-3 amps still deciding, 4-500ft of 1/0, 2 alts, and 5 batteries. Still trying to figure out if I could fit this and if my car would still move lol.

4-500 feet of 1/0? Where in the world are you going to put that, and why in the world do you need it?

Multiple runs from battery to battery to keep resistence as low as possible

Where are you putting the batteries? On a trailer?

figure a run from the battery up front to the trunk is around 15' you'd be able to run 33 1/0 cable runs from front to back

and dual alts is gonna cost you to mount. there is no kit made for out cars and none of thje big aftermarket alt manufacturers are interested in doing one for a car that has never had one. also if you have the 2.4 or eco engine i think the alt is in a different place that doesnt have a lot of room. 4 to 500 feet of 1/0 gauge is gonna run you at the least 1000-1250 for wire. five decent sealed batteries will run you about 150 each unless you are going to walmart for them. also between batts use copper buss bars. much easier much cheaper and much better. trust me man to do a huge electrical like that its gonna hurt your pocket. I have a ton of 1/0 the dual alts and 4 or 5 batteries sitting here. The bracket alone for a dual alt was gonna do me about 400 on the homeboy hook up.

if you need 0awg wire...let me know.. our 4459 strand true american 0 awg wire is $2 a foot for forum members, and with that much, we might be able to work something out.

plus we can get it to you in 200 feet continuous...alot of companies only have it in 50 foot rolls.

ooh yeah, and copper is going up. so get the wire soon.

youd be amazed at what you can fit in the trunk. The problem lies with the weight distribution on the stock suspension. too far back and you start to get a heavy sag. oh as for my wall it is right now about thirteen cubes. externally. In the spring it will be about 23 or so. I havent sat down to figure it all out yet as far as port and woofer displacements. .

Ive got no problem with the money thus why im going with 3 9515's. Batteries will be about 250-300 each depending on if I can score a sponsorship with kinetik(they will be HC2400s) the batteries and amps will go in the trunk with bussbars, and I may hit you up for the wiring. It will be in january most likely when I purchase my wiring. Was looking at knu's KLM for 1.75 but if we could work out a deal then yea and 200ft strands would work great.

I had my stock alternator Re-Built to 250amp output. Maybe Ohio Generator could rebuild your single alt to 300amps. I have 50ft of 0awg in mine. 1 pos. and 1 neg. from front to back and some here and there. 4-500ft is GONNA BE HEAVY!! Get airbag suspension and you'll be all set.
