I finally got my own Compustar 1W900FM Remote start on my 2003 LS Sport Sedan. WOW!! 3,000' range.!!
My 1995 GTP is my moms old car and I have a Valet 552t system on there that was installed in 1998, so this is the first chance I had to get my own Compustar on one of my cars. I bought my Mom and Step-dad Compustars 2 years ago and they loved them.
Well I'm inside of a mall set up in a booth selling remote starts till Xmas, and I have to walk down the hall and out to the parking lot to get to my car, yesterday I started it from my booth inside! I LOVE IT! Now I can use my own car to demonstrat how far it works. They was no reason to ever have one in my Blue Cav since it is never in the cold. But I love it in my 03.
If you don't have one and yhou live in a cold state, GET ONE! You'll love it.

I have a Viper-791XV and the only thing I dont like about it is that it has a hard time in buildings that are a ways away. Also, will you get notifications from that far away too??
Any experience with the P2W9000FMR??
If I got one, id would be that one because it's 2 way. How much do you sell these for retail??

another trickto get you some range that may sound stupid but reall works. Hold it up under your chin. it will use you as an antenna almost and gives you a little more range. i thought it was bs til it actually worked.
I do that with my remote for my alram on my 02.
The 1 way system I have can be upgraded to the 2way with a new remote and different antenna/reciever.

This is the 4th one for our family, but my 1st.
I've bought them for my Mom, Step Dad and my G/F and they love em too, now I know why.
Also the reason for the Compustar working so well in buildings is that it is a 900mhz FM frequency it uses and instead of a small 6volt battery in the remote it has 2 small 3volt batteries, so that makes up for a BIGGER 6 Volt.
My old Valet 552T on my Grand Prix has a 12Volt battery that looks like a tiny AAA.
