Well ive done some searching on push button starts and havent really found what im looking for. For about a year now my ignition cylinder (where the key goes in) has been messing up. You have to jiggle the key and turn and jiggle some more to get it to turn over. I am the only one that can do it. I need to wire it up for a push to start because im getting ready to go away for school for a year and I want my dad to be able to start up the car every so often. Ive been experimenting with the push to start but the problem is that the theft system wont let the car stay running. It starts then dies like 3 seconds later. When I put everything back together it starts and runs fine. Am I missing something here? How do I get around the theft thing??? Thanks

you have to get the bypass module. 555L IIRC. but franly if you are having ignition cylinder problems i would jsut replace the cylinder

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Why not just replace the cylinder?

Because its over $300 plus getting a keys cut. Money I just dont have right now.
