Sub firing.
Friday, December 08, 2006 12:45 PM
I just built my box slightly too big to where it hits the tension bar HOLDERS if I have it to where the subs fire rear ward.

What I can do however, is turn the box, and have the subs either fire both to one side, or oposite sides. To the left and right, while in the trunk.

Is this do-able, feasable?

If they both fire say to the left, would that sound weird in the cab? If they both fired oposite ways, would I have phase issues or anything like that? Thanks guys.

As far as I know, bass of Omnidirectional, so you can't tell which way it's coming from, so no, it shouldn't sound weird unless you get some cancellation issues, I would think anyway.

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

move them each way and see how it sounds. the only thing that will change the sound is as whatever said "if you have some cancellation" so test them out and see wich way sounds best.
