Im looking to coat my enite trunk in some eDead from ED. I was looking at the eDead v4 type. Does anyone know how much sq I need to put some on the trunk floor, walls, and lid? Im wanting to cover it all and put the carpet back over it.

If you plan on using the V4-teklite, Ide suggest around 40 sq feet. If you plan on using V1, or SE2 the mass loaders, then around 60-80 sq feet.

Which would you suggest to use? Im looking to dampen a LOT of my exhaust and sub rattle/noise.

The V1 and SE are both mass loaders, they add weight to the panel and reduce resonation. The V4 is a closed cell foam. It works very well reducing road noise and anything from 200hz and up in the frequency spectrum.

If you are looking to do a basic sound deadning job, which will reduce exhaust and rattles, then the V1 or SE will work great (depending on how much you want to spend, and how many layers you want to do, decides if you use V1 or the SE). Then if you want to deaden the vehicle that much more, you apply one layer of V4 over the top of the mass loader.

You will notice alot of road noise decrease by adding the V4 in your doors. It will reduce exhaust and wind noise.
