I was out christmas dreaming today and saw a HID upgrade kit. The kit was designed to replace the 9007 bulbs. Is it necessary to add projector units or will the bulbs work fine in the stock housings? Also what temperature range would be best to use?

HID without projectors will blind other drivers...real bad...I forget how temp.s work with those bulbs, but i know they run cooler than halogen bulbs.

yeah, projectors is a must IF your head lights aren't disigned for HID's( which no j-body is). but considering that your head lights are atleast clear, they won't blind other drivers as a bad as older cars with the etched lenses(95-99 cavi's & 95-02 sunfires)
