I am thinkin about running a dual 2 ohm kicker comp vx sub off my viper amp @ 1ohm, it would be seeing 1200 RMS to it, it would be in a 3 cube box tuned to 35 Hz,
would this be louder than my type r was in the box seeing 700RMS?

Probably. You'll be running double the power. All depends on how the old box was built, etc... but i'm going to guess yes.

Ya, just make sure the box will work with the kicker sub. If so, then that kicker will destroy the type r, you will be hearing 400 more watts. Im about to receive 2 kicker comp vr subs friday

Good choise with the kickers im selling mine now i just got 3 12'mtx's that are going in so dont need them anymore...
