ok..if i buy automotive LED's...the pre-packaged crap that is designed for 12-14.4 volts..

i wire them in parallel, to make sure full 12-14.4 goes to EACH led individualy...correct? if i wire them in series...voltage pretty much divides, as far as i have read...just wanna make sure.

Correct, positives to positives, negatives to negatives.

Why would you want to delete it? Now that it's in the system, if anyone searches for LED, leds, lighting, led lighting, wiring leds, then this post will show up, and that's what we want anyway, a searchable database.

Right?

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Or if you get 6 of the LEDs for 2V and wire them in series you get the same result. I think they might even be brighter. Or there are LEDs that are high light output.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.

Sam - 2 volt leds will work, but of course you might have a higher wattage consumption with just 1. It wouldn't necessarily be brighter, it all depends on how many watts it puts out.

Almost, depends on the luminous intensity (in mcd's) of each LED.

The preassembled ones are good for, say, an indicator light or if the area you are trying to light is exposed to view. Loose LED's are good for areas where you can tuck them away (vents for example).

Looks like they revamped that site... loaded faster when it was all text based...

I use this one:
