wiring for sub

i know this subject might be old, i'm sorry. i've read a lot of posts on this matter and now i'm confused to &*#$. i have a CONCEPT HZ-124 sub:

and a CONCEPT CA-1302 amp:

i dont want to bridge it since my amp will push 850watts bridged and i'm pretty sure that would blow my sub, but i cant figure out how i should wire mine (serious, parallel...how to wire it from the amp). i'm confused.....help please. thanx.

Hey man if you look at the specs of the amp the maximum output is 425 watts rms x 1 at 4 ohms so your only gonna be getting 425 watts rms which is at 4 ohms and the sub is dual 4 ohms so just bridge it and keep your gains turned down on the amp and everything should be fine...
