So I'm going to make an MDF box either tomorrow or tuesday untill I get the time to finish the fiberglass corner boxes. My question is what demintions are do able? I have two 12" Eclispe subs that are going to be running at 800RMS. Not sure on the cubic foot requirements, but I'm not too overly concerned.
What size would be idea to put in the trunk without too much wrestleing? The biggest problem I could see would be actually getting the mother in there and then clearing the arms from the trunk hinges.
You should be concerned on the requirements. Check what the manufacturer's specs are and build it to that.
1.5-3 Feet per sub. I've got two 12"s.
As far as boxes go, I was able to fit a 32x36x15 box inside the trunk with just some minimal cutting, and it clears the arms.
Cutting? Of what? Which direction did you enter from? The seat or the trunk opening? Thanks.
Had to go in thru the seat opening, and I no longer can put the back seat in. Had to square up the trunk opening from the back seat.

I don't want anything that big. I still need my rear seat to close. How many cubic feet do you have? I'd rather keep it small enough where I can still fit a few books beside the box.
