hey guys i just bought a triple gauge pod and gauges for my cav. i bought an air fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge w/ sender, and volt gauge. do i need any specail connectors like i did with my tach? i needed a tach adaptor for that is there anything like that i need for these gauges?
Just an oil pressure sender. The other two are "plug and play" to an extent
what do you mean "to an extent"?
To the extent that you will have to splice for the power and ground wires, the A/F gauge needs to be spliced into the O2 sensor wire. Other than that, no real issues.
You'll probably need a T fitting if you want to install the oil pressure gauge in the cam tower, instead of having to install it on the block.
i just ran an AN line from my oil pressure sender to a port on the side of the head make sure you get a high pressure line though or kaboom! bye bye motor

2.2's and 2200's have 2 stop plugs above the oil filter that can be used as well, I think a 1/4NPT mail to 1/8NPT female adapter is needed (since I couldn't find one, I used a 1/4NPT male-male and a 1/4NPT to 1/8NPT F-F)
Use a 1/4 inch ratchet (no socket)... They are kind of a pain to see though.
