this is the diagram that came with it.....

and this is the part that i dont get....

like...what wire am i supposed to cut....and where does the green, and yellow wire go.....

what they have it designed to do force the code to be entered before using the key cylinder, this way ONLY the keypad can start it

on a side note: trying to be the transporter??? lol

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Looks like you cut the starter wire (from the ignition switch to the starter), and connect the key side to the yellow wire, and the starter motor side to the green wire.

I'm almost certain that's the yellow wire in the steering column... but I'm at work, and it's nearing the end of a terribly long day... so maybe wait til someone else chimes in to confirm the wire colour

Are you planning on having the key in the iginition too? If not you'll need to bypass the passlock system for it to work.

yea, how it works, is you stick the key in and turn to the on position....type in the code....then u can turn the key to the crank position to start the key......i was planing on hooking up a start buttion once i got this keypad thing working....

Man they marked up the price on those things, I payed 40 when I got mine. But you got a completely different system, here's what mines was wired like (same as your's) except it also had a brown wire to a fuse.

From the picture you connect the green wire to the starter solenoid and the yellow wire to the ignition wire... so you by pass the point of them both connecting like normal. enter password and bingo ur the new transporter.

5 seconds to find another street...
