i am planing on doing this little mod in the next few weeks but one thing i want to know is will it make my factory system pump harder?

zz pump harder... Not really..no...It'll help with your charging systems efficiency, and dimming issues if you have them ... voltage may stay more constant instead of dropping...But I don't see how it would make your amp more powerful...to any noticable extent anyway

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

LOL

All the Big 3 does it help out the electical system. The reason it is such a popular upgrade for people with audio systems is that a aftermarker audio system uses a lot of power if you have a high powered system, and causes your other componets to take the hit.

The Big 3 gives more electical juice to your car, therefor your amps and subs dont drain so much from your other compents such as headlights and your battery.

If you want better electical performence, do The Big 3, if you want more "bump" from your system them replace it AND do the Big 3.

Almost right.... the better electrical flow rate will help prevent the other components from "taking a hit"

Not quite... electricity will take the path of least resistance (and actually prefers it). In this case, by upgrading the wiring to a significantly larger than stock, you are upping the efficiency of the power flow from the alt to battery as well as the grounds. By upping that efficiency, the alt, in theory, doesn't have to work as hard to maintain the battery charge (where the amp gets it power from).

ohh ok cool just wanted to know cause when i turn it up i can watch my radio lights dim and light up as the bass hits so if i do this mod it will at least get rid of the dimming lights and it will help charge my battery more?

thanks for the info guys and not flameing me

In a sense, yes, it allows more flow from your alternator to your battery through the upgraded power wire. As said above, it takes the path of least resistance, and a 4awg power wire going from the alt to the battery has little resistance.
