I was jsut wonderin if this can be done. If i get say like a viper alarm system for my car, is there anyway to hook it up so that when i arm the system my doors will lock too? i have power locks around from autoloc. I'm just wondering cuz i'm goin to shave my doors and i dont wanna be carring around 2 remotes on my key chain. one for locks the other for alarm and poppers. And yes i know theres like 8 function key fobs but thats kinda hard for me to remember whitch is witch.
yeah you would wire it up the same way as if you car came stock with power locks

I am pretty sure if you shave your door handles you will not need locks anyways becuase the only way to open the door would be with the popper.....
i'm goin to have one of those emergency cables for it too... so if someone finds it then they can open my doors but if its locked also they cant.

yes but the locking mekanism is controled by a actutor and if u dont have a key lock u cant unlock it if the power goes dead

well if it was me i would not put a pull cord i would leave the trunk lock so u can get in through the back and not have the lock just the door popper with the shaved doors but thats just my opinion
my car has been shaved for 4 years and i have lost power, broke poppers and lost keys and still got in, when your car is broke into you learn of ways around the normal, pry back the b pillar and pry the window back and then jam a pool stick or broom down it and pop the door handle open!
