I am looking into getting eD subs and an amp. I was thinking of either getting 2 SQ10's with the NINE2.x amp, or 2 11kv.2 susbs with the NINE2.x amp. My questions were has anyone ever tried these subs, id like to know if theyre sweet or not. And as well i could not find what size the subs are? so im assuming the sq10 are 10" and the 11kv.2 are 11"?????? Thanks for the help

BUT I haven't even been in this forum much as of late so i feel like talking a bit. eD makes great stuff, if clean, clear, music is ur game, go with them, if big loud boom is ur game...well....they got plenty in the works for that crowd too right now .... but eD products have phenomenal sound quality, unbeatable prices for the performance.... hell unbeatable prices if they performed 1/4 as well as they do... theyre just over all mind blowing.. well there is my addition to the A&E forum for now. sorry to anyone who has missed me....if anyone even noticed that i have been busy lately lol

I have 3 11kv.2's and I think they sound great for the price. I can't recommend anything else for 65 bucks plus shipping. I wouldn't get the sq10's unless you are really limited on mounting depth though. You lose output, low end extension, and power handling. So if you can fit the 11kv.2's go for that. And I know in a cavy, you should have NO problem fitting 2 kv's. @!#$ you could fit 3 13kv.2's and still have most of your trunk open hehe. That's another thing I love is the small space requirement.

Props to edead too. All butyl based, won't be affected by the heat, great product. I have about 30 sq ft on my doors and 40 elsewhere.

Also, I am selling my 3 11kv.2's if you are looking to buy some soon. I am reconsidering my setup and I am wanting 50 a piece plus shipping out of mine. Whoa...i almost missed this one... the audio section has been so dead lately.

The 11kv2 and SQ10 are both 10" drivers.

They are called 11 or 13 because we use a high roll surround instead of a wide surround. This gives you more usable cone area than a typical speaker.

As for the speakers, I would suggest the 11kv2 over the SQ10, unless space is an issue, while the sq 10 was only 1 db down in output from the 11kv2, like skyler said. it wont get as low, just due to the fact it doesnt have as much throw.

The 11kv2s on a nine.2x in a .5ft^3 per speaker sealed box would work great.

Of if you decide vented..right around 1Ft^3 per speaker, plus port it perfect.

As for the SQ10,s they are going to be for sale a little after Christmas. While the 11kv2s ship all day long.

Almost forgot to mention, they 8", 10" and 12" are all available in either black or silver cones.

The nine.2x puts out RMS power at 4 ohm bridged. That means you wire two dual 4 ohm speakers in series parallel to create a 4 ohm load.
