If money is no object get the Eclipse avn-6600 its the only eclipse tv that has FULL ipod capabilities most other will work but useablity sucks, Or the hottest tv right now is the Pioneer avic-z1 this is a great piece or electronics full 7" display 60gig harddrive built in, i belive only 20 is available to use the rest is for the built in navigation but you can burn cd's right to the harddrive. And ipod use is the easiest i've seen. Alpine is not my forte not a huge fan quality has went down past few years just my 2 cents. Oh and if you don't need navigation look into panasonic cheap tv's good quality w/ ipod.
holy balls... you can actually rip a cd onto that pioneer dvd player??!!??!
thats frickn NEAT. i want.
I went with a double din because of the cleaner install. It jsut comes down to what you like the look of better.

I have a $1500 Alpine flip-up and hate it. The picture is so much better on the Eclipse double din, and the install looks better. I recommend going that route. Flip-ups are cheesey and outdated imo.

Wonder if I am to late? I used the Alpine DVA-310, with the flip out. Nice thing is that. dependent on your neighborhood, the screen folds away and looks like a plain jane CD stereo and no one is the wiser.
Nice thing about the Alpine is that it is upgradeable and easy to add change or delete, is XM and Sirius ready, and has loads of extras you can add to it.
If you want pics, email me, I am to lazy right now.
flip up is cheesey and outdated?!?!??
lol
okay then
