Just hoping someone could help me come to a solution and cause to this problem im having! Saturday night I was up at the local car meet, went for a quick spin to check out something, about halfway back the heater blower just stops working?? so i get back pop the hood and check the fuse, i thought it was loose so i pushed it down into the holder alil and thats when i sparked (bright like i was welding under the hood) and smoked. so i quickly yanked the fuse out i was getting zapped to find half the fuse just completely melted off.

so sunday night i went out with the multimeter, and discovered that the side that melted off and sparked was on the battery side of the terminals and not the blower side. and just incase someone is wondering the fuse never blew! so my question is what the hell would of caused this and whats my solution on how to fix it?? i was thinking a wire came lose in the fuse bix but i havent messed with it.

also another problem i have had for like a year now is my rear defroster doesnt work at all. i get power to the fuse box and the hvac panel but then its dead? i remember someone saying theres a connector under the dash but the hell if i could find it?

Not sure about the first problem, but maybe one of the two plugs on the rear defroster fell out or broke? They should be about halfway down the window on either side.
