CD PLAYER KEEPS SHUTTING OFF

i have 2 12" kenwood typhoon subs, a kenwood amp, and a 20 farad tsunami capacitor, nothin to big but still pretty loud. i have lots of light dimming, and when i come to and idle my cd player and my subs shut off. it only wont shut off if i turn my deck way down or i step on the gas. but even when i step on the gas i still get major dimming. i was told that a capacitor would fix my problem so i bought a tsunami 20 farad capacitor, this didnt fix it. so then i upgraded the big 3, this didnt fix it. so then i bought a custom 200 amp ho alternator, with a smaller pulley so it puts more out at idle. this helps a little so now i can get my volume up a couple more notches before everything shuts off, but still didnt completely fix my problem. is there something drawing power other then my subs, what could be the problem. my buddy has much bigger subs in his subaru impreza, i know that he has a bigger draw on his alternator, i know that his alternator is only about half the ampridge of mine, but he still can turn it up as high as he wants, at idle or not,and he only has minor dimming, and no shutting off.

To large of voltage drops id assume. Big 3 or a yellowtop

i already changed the big 3 with 1/0 wire, and i dont think its the battery because i parked my car next to my dads truck, ran jumper cables to this battery while his truck was off, and turned my music up,(my car was on and at idle) if i had a bad battery it would just have drawn more from his and my subs wouldnt have shut off, but that didnt change anything. so im pretty sure that neither of those are the problem.

Take your cap out. Caps are never good. And im still thinking its your battery. Wouldnt neccassarily draw more from the other one. But huge voltage drops would cause all that. Def get a DMM and test your battery or your HO might not be working correctly

Everything you mentioned makes me think it is your battery. You can test it whenever you want, on or off.

i was under the impression that a cap was an electronic power storage device, almost like a battery, but electric, am i right? could somebody tell me what it actually is lol.

ya a 20 farad hybrid capacitor is @!#$in huge, so was the price tag, but it wasnt worth it cause it didnt fix my problem lol
