whats goin on guys, i have been trying to hook this up for awhile, the problem i am having is, when i try to tap the wires for the o2 sensor, the car begins to throw a code for runnign lean, which it is not. and the a/f gauge is getting a signal, but its all the way at lean like the last 2 squares, but you can smell gas in the exhaust.... can anyone help me with this one here?

any help guys? i soldered all the connections under the hood and the check engine light went out, then i soldered the connection to the gauge and the light came back on, i donno what the deal is. can anyone offer some advice? i am dien here!
