I was wonding what kind off cd head units are good and which ones to stay away from.I'm looking to get a cd head unit that is satellite radio ready.I was pushing toward a pioneer head unit but just don't know which one.

Pioneer "Premier"
JVC "Arsenal"
Kenwood "Excelon"
Alpine (Higher end DVA units, all the CDA crap now is junk in the 2007 lineup)
Alpine (Older units off ebay 7995, 9831, 9835, 9853, 9855 etc etc.)

DOOOOOD, whats funny is i might have a 9830 for sale soon... (2005 CDA-9830)... dunno if im selling it yet or not, we shall see... might give it to my mom.... but anywho... i would say check e bay for older alpines from the 983X line up, pioneer is also another good place to look... main thing to look for is EQing options and the number of preouts and the voltage on the preouts.... other things are realy going to depend on your personal preference and what u are looking for out of it... but alpine(although their new stuff is lacking!), is a good place to look.. pioneer has my vote for the 06-06 line ups.... ecplipse still makes some kick ass head units.... clarion..... then from there on down...
