Ok, I'm looking for some input on how you guys connect ANY wire whatsoever to the battery terminals. I'm currently trying to attach a 4 gauge ring terminal to the positive battery terminal with NO success whatsoever. The post is incredibly short, and the red rubber thing that covers the whole assembly is so huge that I cant slip just the ring part underneath it without it being at an angle so I can't screw the battery post in. How do you guys do it??
If this doesnt make sense I can just take pictures and show how it isn't working.
you have to get an adapter from autozone

thats my preferred way to house all my wiring
Hm... The longer battery posts would be an easy and cheap solution, however I tried to yank the current ones out with no success. I don't see a way to pull them out without cutting up the rubber housing around it.j
I'll look into the cost of a yellow top as well. Thanks everyone for your input.
They come out, but you have to pull them out at an angle sort of. Get one side out of the rubber and then the other.
or just cut the wires and add new ring terminals to them and then attach them back to the battery post

use a small flathead screwdriver and pry the factory bolt out of the rubber. it should come out easy with a screwdriver.
