Is there any way to get an amp wired up to my front speakers without removing the door panel or taking out the deck? I looked to wires under the dash and its hard to get to them for splicing.

You can do it easier by just running the wires up to the deck... and tapping into the wires there off the harness and disconnect the regular speaker connects from the deck. there you go, amped fronts. You can do all 4 that way if you wanted to.
How do I get to the wires on the deck? Is it hard to remove the deck? I hate to have to remove the dash and all, I had best buy install a pioneer CD player in the car years back.

If you have an aftermarket head unit installed now, just use the pioneer keys and pop it out.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.
if you dont have the keys anymore.. a large sized cable-tie in each side will work.. just make sure they go in straight
It's an easy way, and there's nothing wrong with pushing low wattage through the factory wires.
There's no problem with pushin 150 watts through factory wires... and if you have more than 150 rms watts going to each of your speakers then you probably wouldn't even be thinking about using them anyway.
150 watts through the wire :S dosnt seem like that great of an idea
this really depends on if you have the Monsoon system in your car or not. if you do, the wires coming out of the deck go to a trunk-mounted amp. I'd check that first before you do any splicing behind the HU.

But if he has an aftermarket HU that amp won't be hooked up. If Big Blue wired the bypass at the radio, the amp in the truck won't do anything. The amp has to be bypassed....where they did it depends. If they bypassed the amp at the amp itself, you might be able to get the wires. I would pull the radio out, cut the speaker wires to the front speakers (white and grey wires) and hook up the car side to the amp. Run speaker wire from the amp with the RCAs.
BTW, why do you need to get the wires? And what about the rears?

I have a Clarion DXZ845MC HU in my J... and it's wired to the factory amp in the trunk.
works fine.
