i have a clarion that i had for the past 3 years now and i love it but i really like the eclipse deck's
i rock the stocker....but that jsut me

I may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
I went from the Clarion 855 (last years model) to an Eclipse cd7000 and I'd have to say neither is a bad choice but I'm definitely sticking to Eclipse from now on.

I just picked up the Clarion DXZ865MP, best headunit i've ever SEEN...clarion is by far the most defined in head units.
I had a Clarion DXZ835MP... It was their high end that year...well other than the dolby 5.1 HU. Then went to a mid level 5 volt eclipse the 5444.
The eclipse was the better HU hands down.
Plus the cd5000 has 8 volt preouts doesnt it?
8volt= gains not needing to be turned up much.
I like that feature.
