Did you take out all three screws along the top of the trim bezel? The rest of it is just clips so just pull and it'll come out.

i noticed that there was screws, 2 werent in, but the one still is in on the right hand side. is there a simple way to get it out? do you have to take off the whole top dash? any ideas would be great.
Thanks!!
Josh
Yes, the top dash pad has to be removed. There several 7mm screws behind the glove box door, on the driver's and passenger's side of the dash and on top under the defrost vent.

well isnt that about the stupidist thing, i've never had a cd player install take so long. crazy, oh well, no biggie. once i get the last screw out and i put everything back together, would i just be able to leave the screws out? that way i could just pop off the dash when i needed?
josh
I wouldn't. Personally I'd rather have my dashboard secure rather then flopping around. If you ever need to pull the radio out just use the keys it comes with and slide it out of the cage.

send me an email, ill respond back with a full guide on how to install a radio in your car, with photos.

I've done radios in Cavaliers and the usually take me an hour. And that includes the IPod adapter too. Just take your time and make sure you get every screw, otherwise it won't come off.
