First off, I have 2 12" audiobahn subs, nothing big 400 rms a piece, with an audiobahn 1200 watt rms amp, i think its 2 channel, may be mono, not sure.

Any way, I have NOO high ends, i have stock door speakers and rear deck speakers that suck. What brand do you suggest, and should i run a little amp with them to get me some high ends? If so, what amp, i dont know hardly anything about little speakers and littler amps for them, so all imput would b helpful, thanks.

get a good quality set of 6.5" components for the fornt and some 6X9's for the rear and amp them for sure.

my personal recomendation is Alpine Type R's, thats what I have and love them (power by an alpine V12 4 channel amp

Well, since you don't seem like your the audiophile type, ill suggest something really great for the price, speaker wise....You could get the 6.5 inch CTD components (i think they're the classic set) ... They're like 120 or 140 bucks, rated at 110w rms but could probably take a bit more....Might wanna look into those

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

Not only is the price you are willing to spend a factor, but on top of that. do you want to mount a seperate tweeter? or would you perfer a coaxial style speaker?

there are a few speakers that have a removable phase plug where the tweeter can be mounted, and give you performance of a component speaker.
