I used a vice for my 2 guage. worked wonderfully.
vice works good. They also make a little tool that you can stick the connector into and hit the thing with a hammer and it crimps it.

find non-crimp connectors. it gives a LOT neater appearance.

They do make crimpers for those type of connections.....they are expensive. I like to use a vise.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.
Vice... then I take a pick and put it in the center of the connector, and hammer it so it makes a nice dimple. That way the wire doesn't pull out easily.
I use a vice and then take heat shrink tubing to clean up the look a little.
I just drop the mushroom tattoo on it, works perfect.
Vice...then hammer...then shrink tube.

I use the connectors with the screw in them, works very well.
you could always solder the crap out of it and not even have to crimp it
I usually try to bend 1 side at a time. that way it will bite into the wire and get a decent grip then just bend the other side over.

torch, solder, heat shrink. use the type with a rosin core as it will clean the copper as it melts. heat shrink will clean up the melted insulation and black on the outside of the connector.
